Why write romance? There's a simple answer

Although not all of my books are romances, they all contain romance. I’d never put the reason into words until somebody asked me the other day why I write primarily in the genre. The answer’s pretty simple:

The most important thing in life is love.

Enough said.

Exactly right, Joy. Whether it's love of a child, a parent, a friend or a significant other. Getting back to why the romance genre is relevant, few if any decisions are more important than the choice of the person who will share your life.
